I have been awake for almost four hours. I have been typing and writing (in my notebook) for two hours. I am unsure what to write for this post.
Reflection Questions:
- Notice thoughts. Is it helpful to consider thoughts that are destructive, and thoughts that are constructive? Do you agree that thoughts tell a story? What story do your thoughts tell? What story do you want your thoughts to tell? Can you support a constructive story by getting out ahead of your thoughts and writing the story you want to tell? When would you do this? (answer: Quiet Time)
- In the excerpt, it references March 2020: ‘When major sporting events were canceled this week…’. Did you have a response in your body when you read it? Notice the response. Mind.Heart.Belly.Muscles.Skin. Name the response. Allow the response. Release the response. It is four years later. What is happening? Is it better? Consider intensity, duration, time.
- Do you wonder about the situations, circumstances, events that happen in your life? Are they pieces of you? I wonder about this. It’s easy to assume what happens is happening to you. Consider your thoughts on this in comparison to the part in the excerpt that speaks of powerless and powerful. Can you change your thoughts to be empowering? Why would you do so? Where would you practice this? (ie. Quiet Time)
