For today’s abetterway Sunday Book Club excerpt, I created a video to complement the skills, tools, and strategies I mention throughout the book.
I suggest one creates a Quiet Time to intentionally digest this post.

Reflection questions:
- Can you recognize your own capacity to regulate your thoughts, feelings, impulses/urges to act or not act? If so, how can you use this?
- Are you open to bringing awareness to what it feels like to be integrated: mind heart belly muscles skin – whole. Would this integrated state be the regulated state, the feeling state that can be created and used to move toward day with intention?
- Can you be open to recognizing that communication is an intelligent system. Giving directions and following directions may be assumed to be more simple than it actually is. What happens when one slows down to listen to self and others? Does life feel more authentic?
