Are we ready for some August Tiger vibes?

But first…hummingbird.

Some context: I was on my RLW (ridiculously long walk) and at a corner I noticed a hummingbird hovering in the center of an intersection. If you are familiar with Denver, it was mid-morning in the East Wash Park neighborhood. Two neighborhood roads intersect – directly in the center, no shade. The hummingbird just hovered a bit above eye level from where I was standing. I just watched, mesmerized. I watched for at least two minutes – assuming it wouldn’t linger for long. No cars came, no people walked by. Just me on a corner staring at this hummingbird hovering in the center of two intersecting roads.

What’s a girl with an animal spirit guidebook going to do but look up hummingbird as soon as she gets home.

Tiger is badass and also the first of the final five Fire cards. It’s interesting (to me) that the first two cards were Earth – grounding, for January and February. The next five were Water, and now Fire. If you notice your own patterns, you may pick up on how a calendar year plays out – a grind to begin the new year, working toward a crescendo in June – July, and then some ease up through the holidays. We are not all alike – obviously. I like to share from my own experience and general observation of what can feel uplifting, encouraging….and playfully mystical: can we add enchanting and bejeweled from my summertime singaglong?
